Jessica Graham Artist Statement

My artistic practice is rooted in intuition and body movement. Color, line, and rhythm speak to me through experiences of the body and architecture leaving impressions that translate into my art marking. What I see, hear, and experience day to day is collected into movement. I often find myself dancing with paper, as part of the visceral experience. Drawings become paintings as mediums fluctuate between wet and dry. 

My BFA is from Minneapolis College of Art and Design 1999.
